3km Sacco Ltd was established on March 29, 2011 through the ministry of co-operatives under certificate of registration number CS/13558. It is a vibrant member-based cooperative society dedicated to serving the financial needs of smallholder farmers in Kimilili, Mt. Elgon, Kabuchai and Webuye west sub-counties.

From a humble beginning with 281 members, we now proudly serve 1,142 members. Our capital base has expanded to KShs. 3,251,905 in savings and share capital, with a loan portfolio of KShs 3,087,366 as of December 31, 2023.

At 3km Sacco Ltd, we are dedicated to empowering smallholder farmers through financial inclusion and support. We support smallholder farmers engaged in serials and Banana production with an emphasis on Banana and Beans value chain.
